As clearly stated on the contest terms, the entire Poetry.com team got a total of 5 points to spread among nominees. With 100+ contenders on our average contest in the last 7 months, that accounts to less than 5% of the votes.

On top of that, the team votes are usually used to break up ties, and rarely change the identity of the winners and runners-up already decided by the contest participants.

I really hope that clears things up.

On a different note, while we would like to keep the platform friendly for everyone, we do welcome criticism and improvement suggestions. Having said that, calling our staff liars and spreading negatively all around might be too much...
